About

I was born in Malaysia, educated in England, and the United States — a humble product of three continents, cultures and am currently based in Florida. My work as a visual artist spans over four decades, evolving from film to digital while holding fast to a contemplative, timeless aesthetic.

My journey began with a 35mm camera and a fascination with the beauty of black and white. That pursuit for tonal perfection led me to explore medium and large format film, deepening my appreciation for the craft. In college, I worked as a staff photographer for the Yearbook, documenting campus life and earning several Kodak and newspaper awards. My photograph Roots was later published by the Art Council in its annual calendar.

Although my career path led into computer technology, photography has always remained a lifelong passion. For years, I developed images in makeshift darkrooms, preserving that connection to process and patience. In 2025, with the encouragement of friends and family, I began sharing my work publicly once again.

Today, I work in both color and black and white, blending analog techniques with digital precision. My images are quiet meditations — an exploration of light, shadow, and form — rooted in a belief that photography endures as both art and memory. Each print is crafted with archival pigment inks on museum-grade papers to ensure a lifetime of enjoyment and display.
